Systems Design, Technical Implementation and Lead Game Design for 2+ Years

Systems & Gameplay Design

I was a part of the Systems team for a majority of my time on the project, working on a variety of Survival gameplay features both on paper and in-engine.

Examples include Status Effects, Crafting, Building and other Social Systems.

Lead Game Design

Was officially (and unofficially) responsible for spearheading a variety of multi-disciplinary feature teams, driving both vision and execution for each feature set.

I was primarily responsible for the Building System and various Social Systems as well.

Technical Implementation

In addition to the other areas I was responsible for, I spent a goodly amount of time in Blizzard’s proprietary engine creating content, scripts and prototypes to prove out a variety of concepts.

Whether you want to call it firefighting or being a Generalist designer, if there’s something that needed to get done to move things forward, I was game to try and help.
